Golden State Warriors Make Trade Offer For Dwight Howard

We’re going to go ahead and place this in the “No way will this ever eff’n happen” trade rumor category in the words of DimeMag.

According to Draft Express, the Golden State Warriors have reportedly offered a package of Monta Ellis, Ekpe Udoh and Andris Biedrins to the Orlando Magic for Dwight Howard. It is a general rule that unless it’s a total steal, you almost never deal big for small in the NBA. It hardly, if ever, works. We would say that when you’re talking about the best big in the NBA, that rule is extra airtight.

Although the Magic are known for having all around shooters, this “package deal” is one the is laughable. What the Magic need is a back up center for Dwight Howard, a good point guard that can get him the ball, and a clutch shooter who is consistent off the pass.

Althought Monta Ellis is a great player, this trade will “NEVER eff’n happen”.
