Brett Favre Denies Miami Dolphin Trade Rumors

The fact that Brett Favre is REALLY considering a comeback at the age is 41 sounds more of a rumor than any of the talk of him joining a team. Not sure why he won’t just have a seat and sip on a pina colada on some private island somewhere.

Rumors first swirled of him going to Philly and taking the backseat to Michael Vick and next came the trade rumors of him joining Reggie Bush in Miami. Well the Eagles move never happened and now Favre is denying any talk of him being a Dolphin.

When approached by Darlington, Favre quickly dispelled any potential hope Dolphins’ fans had about him quarterbacking
their team this season.

“I haven’t heard anything, and I don’t have any interest,” Favre snapped, quickly retreating into a pickup truck. “No”

You’re from Miami?” Favre asked, when introduced to a reporter from the Miami Herald. “Don’t you have anything better to do?”

Somebody sounds cranky. Seems as though time isn’t on Favre’s side, and with alot of teams cutting their vets and bringing in the younger legs, I don’t see teams jumping for a greybearded Favre. Moves are still being made by teams, so I wouldn’t cut him out just yet. But again, someone tell Favre to just have a seat.
