A few weeks ago I shared that Kevin Durant and Lebron James set up a flag football game shortly after KD played a pickup flag football game with some OSU students he met off twitter.

According to BlackSportsonline, Kevin Durant and LeBron James will lace the flags up in a non-contact football game tonight at the University of Akron. The game will be broadcast on LeBron’s Ustream channel at 8 pm EST and will be preceded by a charity event for LeBron’s Wheels for Education program.

The LeBron/Durant match will feature such squad members as author/ad exec/entrepreneur Steve Stoute, LeBron’s business manager Maverick Carter, Kevin’s brother Tony Durant, as well as the captains themselves.

As interesting as this sounds, I may have to pass. I’ll share the highlights with you as soon as they are available, but all in all, I’m ready to see these guys in uniform, and playing some REAL ball. Kind of worn out with these exhibition pick up games, even though this IS Football (kinda).
