Trade Rumor:Dwight Howard May Want to Be in LA,But Says He Has No Interest in Clippers

Alex Kennedy brings us this latest episode in the “Dwight-Out” situation.  The Clippers have designated trading for Dwight Howard as their top priority, more so than Chris Paul.  A Howard-Griffin frontcourt would be deadly, becoming one of the greatest big man tandems in NBA history.  Too bad Howard has no interest in going to Los Angeles, the Clippers that is.  Alex Kennedy has broken many stories over the last few years, but it should be taken with a grain of salt that the exchange below was in a weekly chat session with fans …. not a formal report.

According to from HOOPSWORLD.com:

Question:
Hi Alex. What do you think of this deal? Clippers get D-Howard, Bulls get E-Gordon, and Orlando gets Asik, Gibson, Kamen, and Charlotte’s 1st rounder.

Alex Kennedy:
It’s great for the Clippers and Bulls, but I don’t think Orlando would agree to it. I think they’d much rather land Brook Lopez or Andrew Bynum.

Also, from what I’ve heard, Dwight Howard isn’t interested in signing an extension with the Los Angeles Clippers.
