Derrick Rose Welcoming Dwight Howard with Open Arms

Derrick Rose is not the recruiting type. The kid would much rather sit back and run his squad without worrying about hopping on the wire to draw in another man to do a job that has been designated to his jersey number. Chicago has become his town and another superstar would do nothing but take the spotlight away from him.

Thankfully for Dwight Howard, that is the last of Rose’s concerns. He just wants to win and he knows that Dwight Howard would only amplify his chances against a Miami Heat squad that has his number, defensively at least.

“Me and Dwight definitely have a relationship, especially because of adidas. I know our market and the city speaks for itself, if someone was interested to come to the Chicago Bulls,’ Rose said of the Magic’s All-Star center. ‘Dwight, he’s a great player. Who wouldn’t want to play with him, but you never know what’s going to happen.”

Rose is right. Who wouldn’t want to play with Dwight Howard? At least when times are right. Howard has become a little snippy lately as the Orlando Magic have fallen upon hard times and do not seem to be restoring the right formula to pick themselves back up. His exit is getting messier by the minute.

But, it must be some type of consolation that one of the best, YOUNG players in the league has endorsed his arrival. Because who wouldn’t want to play with Dwight Howard?

Who wouldn’t want to play with Derrick Rose?
