Lamar Odom Wants to Focus on Basketball, No More Khloe&Lamar Show

Lamar Odom has had a rough past year. He went from being traded to New Orleans in the Chris Paul trade to having that axed and remaining a Laker,  just long enough for him to blink before he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks for pretty much nothing. This “betrayal” from the team he once loved  affected his performance on the court in Dallas. He then missed a few games for a “family emergency” and instead of returning to the Mavericks, he was then put down to their D-League team. Once brought back to the Mavs, he played a few more games before being released  and told they did not want him on the team during the playoffs.

Well it seems as though Lamar is ready to get his mind together and focus on his career, and his first step into that direction was cancelling his show on E! with his wife Khloe.

Sources tell TMZ, the show’s second season will be its last … because Lamar wants to focus on reviving his fizzling NBA career.

As we previously reported, Lamar was relegated to the Dallas Mavericks’ inactive list after putting up career low numbers this season. If he’s lucky, he’ll be traded. If not, who knows …

I sure would like to see Lamar get out there and play basketball. I doubt he will return to Dallas OR LA, yet I’m sure someone will  be interested in signing him. As for Khloe, I know she supports her man in all of his decisions.
