Former RB Derrick Ward Lashes Out on NFL Players and DUI Arrests [Tweets]

Former NFL running back Derrick Ward went on a twitter rampage most recently that was very similar to one of my own. I am convinced that NFL have no “REAL” friends and that they are as dumb as the stereotypes lead us to believe. Friends don’t let friend drink and drive, especially ones with so much to lose.

It’s not rocket science people. But although we all know right from wrong in this instance, people just can’t seem to get right. Not only are you putting yourself in danger, but you risk the lives of everyone around you. Derrick Ward had some harsh words to share with fellow NFL players, and others who want to get behind the wheel after drinking, and although a bit repetitive, you can’t say it enough.

He doesn’t stop there though.  See what else Ward had to get off his chest.

Is it that hard to comprehend? These guys can surely afford a taxi if not a private car service. Smarten up!

And to round things up….

You hear that guys, if all else fails. JUST WALK!  lol

Not a laughing matter and most of these guys are lucky the only thing they got hit with was a DUI ticket and their mugshot plastered all over google. There are so many things that can result in worse fashions when driving under the influence.
