Why Fullcourtpumps and where did you come up with that name? It’s actually quite clever and borderline genius if you ask me. The name of the site Fullcourtpumps came from a play on words of the defensive play of a full court press. Pumps to show the feminity of the site being that I am a female.

The sports world is a man driven industry in which a woman only “knows” the game if she is a retired College/WNBA star. In the eyes of Chris Bosh, and many other men, a woman’s role in sports is to just cheer and clap during a game and not really know what is going on. Being a woman who wears makeup and “pumps” I am chastised and tested at my knowledge and love for the game on a daily basis.

I played basketball for 7 years both on school teams and leagues such as AAU and intramural and have grown to love this game and other sports. I no longer play but allow my heart to remain on the court by tuning into the excitement of the NBA, the heart and young talent of College hoops, and football………..when there’s no basketball on T.V.

This site is sports oriented and straight down and dirty and forward from the point of view of a woman. A woman who wears lipstick, wears six inch heels, and skirts. A fan of this game has no face. I am a woman so this will be from my standpoint and if you don’t like it, well bite me. I decided to include Fashion, Gossip, and Entertainment on my site because I feel, like sports, they are unisex topics of discussion.
