Known Reality Vixen Hoopz now linked to Celtics center Shaquille O’ Neal admits to not caring for Shaq’s attire prior to her adding her finishing touches. I like these two together. Hoopz seems to bring the kid out in Shaq and they seem to be happy.
Some player, if it’s really a player at all, has come forward, kinda, to put Celtics Forward Kevin Garnett on blast. Calls him a punk and coward. Not sure about you, but I think KG is a pretty tough guy, out the mouth of course, but don’t let the slim guy fool ya, I’m pretty sure he’d handle a couple people at once. Check out what Player X had to say (courtesy of ESPN Boston)
Garnett is a punk and a coward. I know, I know. Easy for me to say behind this column. Don’t worry, I’ll tell him to his face, too. And I’m not the only one who thinks that: If you’re not on his team, chances are you hate the guy. You can learn a lot about him by watching his eyes. If he’s talking to you — and he’s always talking — he avoids eye contact. My advice to other guys in the league: Stare him down, and he’ll retreat. From what I’ve seen, he’ll never mix it up with a player who’s bigger than he is. Personally, I think he’s scared to fight — like a playground bully who barks but doesn’t bite. The first game between the Celtics and Knicks was nothing short from excitement and intense. The Knicks held the lead for the majority of the game but the 3rd qtr became interesting. As the Celtics would cut the lead to 2 then to 1 then the Knicks would gain control again. The game was good, and although the star of the team Melo didn’t play to well and got into early foul trouble, Amare Stoudemire showed up and took control of his team.
Who said basketball wasn’t physical? Sunday night was full of flames and the Heat brought the fire as they dominated the Celtics and came out with the win with a score of 100-77, giving them the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference Finals. This was a tough match and couldn’t go without emotion. As we near the playoffs these players are bringing their hearts on the court. In the first half of the game the tension rose. As Lebron scurried down the court on a fast break, Jermaine O’Neal beat him down the court. Instead of O’neal taking the charge or attempting to block the shot, he throws his shoulder into Lebron causing a chain reaction. This resulted in Lebron recieving a technical as well as a quick push and shove scuffle between Pierce and Wade.
Today is a big day in NBA. Here in Orlando was supposed to be the matchup between MVP lead runners Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose. Instead, the game airing on ABC today at 1pm will most likely be a battle of the second string as I don’t see Rose playing many minutes in today’s game. The Bulls still lead the Eastern Conference while the Magic have clenched that #4 seed and don’t seem to be advancing. If both teams advance a pass the first round we can count on these two teams battling it out to head to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Tonights game between the Lakers and Thunder should be quite exciting as well. With a win tonight from Oklahoma City they can come move just within a game of the Lakers to claim the #2 seed in the Western Conference. Continue reading Race To The Playoffs and Top Seeds→
