If one athlete combines sports and fashion, it’s Knicks’ Amare Stoudemire. Off the court, Amare is known for his stylish fashions and business mindset. He is among one of the many athletes who goes the great lengths to show off his style and money. Pointed out by Ballertainment, playing along Carmelo Anthony as a New York Knick in Madison Square Garden has added to his sex appeal, hence bagging ex fling Ciara.
According to the New York Post, Stoudemire will launch his own website, focusing on sports (including fantasy basketball) and fashion, after brokering a very savvy deal with Big Lead Sports.
“This is definitely a great opportunity,” Stoudemire, a popular nine-year NBA veteran, told The Post yesterday.
Stoudemire is expected to try to boost fantasy basketball, which draws far fewer participants than fantasy baseball and football. Continue reading Amar'e Stoudemire Will Bring Fashion,Sports Via His Online Web Venture
While Serena won’t be the star at Wimbledon, doesn’t quite mean she won’t come out big at this year ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on July 13th. She recently took her “talent” of singing to the mainstage as the first promo video for the ESPYs was aired. Check out the video of her singing in a prom dress to host Seth Meyers, and Carmelo Anthony feeling the vibe. Continue reading Serena Williams Prom Queen Promo For 2011 ESPYS Hosted By Seth Meyers
Thanks to the TheYBF for really waking me up this morning with these pictures of Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Idris Elba at Fashion week in Milan.
While I am not impressed with Dwayne Wades attire and the strength of his pants being so tight, Melo and the talented Idris were drool worthy in their get ups. Take a look. Continue reading Dwayne Wade,Carmelo Anthony, and Idris Elba In Milan For Fashion Week
With this years drafts said to be one of the worst NBA drafts in the past decade, it baffles me the trash talk taking place before anyone is even drafted. You got Derrick Williams saying he is the next Lebron James and now Marcus Morris of KU comparing himself to Carmelo Anthony and saying him and his twin brother Markeif Morris will be better than the Lopez twins.
See what Marcus Morris had to say about himself and the comparisons he believes. Continue reading Marcus Morris of Kansas Speaks Highly of Himself Once Again
Howard Beck, a writer for the New York Times, tweeted this morning that Donnie Walsh was out as Knicks General Manager.
I cannot tell a lie. I saw this coming the moment Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire and the Knicks were not able to bring about a second round berth in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. With that much firepower, it seems like they would be a shoo-in. That was until Boston showed them why it takes a little more than a swift jumper from Anthony to survive against a championship caliber squad like the Celtics. Continue reading NY Knicks' General Manager Donnie Walsh Is Officially Out
Did anybody else notice Melo didn’t make a single All-NBA team? One would think scoring at least 25.6 points per game would get you a strong mention with the likes of LeBron James, Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and Kevin Durant. Well, when you think about it like that, Carmelo Anthony definitely does not deserve to trump any of those guys on the first team. So, what about the second team? You have Dwyane Wade, Pau Gasol, Russell Westbrook, Dirk Nowitzki and Amare Stoudemire. Continue reading Carmelo Anthony Snubbed from All-NBA teams
Last night on Twitter I began my petition to “Bring Chris Paul to Disney World” to buddy up with Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic in an attempt to keep Dwight from heading to Disney Land and Lakers. This stirred up a whirl wind of discussion as many of you are 100% -or as a friend of mines said “95% sure Chris Paul would joing Melo and Amare as a Knick.” Where does Chris Paul go after the Hornets? Continue reading Future of Chris Paul in the NBA? Where Does He Go?
