During TNT ‘s pregame show Tuesday, Barkley criticized D’Antoni’s coaching and added, ‘That’s why they are going to have a new coach next year.’ D’Antoni got word of it via text message after the Knicks ‘ loss. Fashion:Spike Lee Unveils New Jordan Spizike "Knicks" PEs

Today Spike Lee published an image, previewing two interesting new colorways of the Jordan Spizikes. It looks like Michael Jordan has gifted Spike Lee with two pairs of NY Knicks colored Spiz’ikes, as a tribute to their strongest season in some time. As many of you will already know, the sneaker, originally released in 2006, was created by Jordan and Spike, mating the Jordan III, IV, V, VI and XX. The shoe also includes an image of Spike’s Mars Blackmon character on the heel, as well as the ‘40 Acres & A Mule’ logo, representing Spike’s film production company. Will any of you guys purchase these? Knicks fans or not.

Letter to the Commissioner: Dear David Stern

Dear Mr.David Stern,

I come to you as a fan of the game, an avid viewer of the regular season and playoffs and we have beef. It is only approaching the second games in the first round of the 2011 playoffs and I am going to need you to do something about these refs. If this continues, we will have major problems sir. The horrible calls that have been called in such close games have made me question the validity of the outcome and if you have something to do with it.

Game 1 the Celtics barely clenched the victory over the Knicks that had held the lead for the majority of the game. With a minute remaining in the game the refs made 2 crucial calls. The first call was the offensive foul called on Melo as he stood beyond the arch. This is not the call you make with the game on the line and less than a minute remaining. This call eventually led to a wide open 3 by Ray Allen which won them the game. But might I add the reason Allen was so wide open was because the refs didn’t make a call on Garnett tripping one of the Knicks players. Both of these calls could have possibly resulted in a different outcome if called correctly. Video:Ray "Shuttlesworth" Allen Hits the Game Winning Shot Against the Knicks

The first game between the Celtics and Knicks was nothing short from excitement and intense. The Knicks held the lead for the majority of the game but the 3rd qtr became interesting. As the Celtics would cut the lead to 2 then to 1 then the Knicks would gain control again. The game was good, and although the star of the team Melo didn’t play to well and got into early foul trouble, Amare Stoudemire showed up and took control of his team.

The game came down to the final seconds where with just 21 seconds remaining and the Celtics down by 1, Jesus Shuttlesworth  Ray Allen pulled up with a 3 that went in to bring the lead to 2. Continue reading Video:Ray "Shuttlesworth" Allen Hits the Game Winning Shot Against the Knicks

Video: Amare Stoudemire says Pau Gasol is "Still Soft":: Ron Artest Responds

Okay tough guys. We can cut the act now. Although, nevermind, keep going, this is quite the entertainment. In the past week there have been scuffles down the court, words exchanged, and opinions made. Who is the toughest team in the NBA? According to Amare Stoudemire of the Knicks, Pau Gasol, Center for the LA Lakers is soft. He goes on to say that Pau has help from the 7footers on the team such as Bynum and Lamar Odom. The TRUE tough guy of the Lakers, Ron Artest, seemed to have his own words to say about Amare’s comments. “Look at my chest…He [Pau Gasol] don’t have to be hard.” While watching the Lakers-Milwaukee game last night, the commentators kept mentioning Barnes as the thug of the team. PSSSH.Okay.

So this makes me bring the question, who’s the toughest-hard core team in the NBA??
