Not sure if this surprises anyone, but in news you care about, former NBA Player Samaki Walker was arrested yesterday during a traffic stop for marijuana and possession of liquid steriods.
Here are the details.
Arizona authorities allege former NBA basketball player Samaki Walker tried to eat marijuana as a Department of Public Safety officer approached his 2002 Mercedes-Benz following a routine traffic stop in Kingman on Thursday.
Officials said about 10 grams of marijuana was seized from the vehicle along with some prescription drugs and eight bottles of liquid steroids.
Walker explained to the police that he uses the steroids to improve his game, he currently plays overseas. But again, this is news that you care about.

While many draftees and first time college hoopers are tearing up their cities at local Pro Ams, Duke’s Nolan Smith is trying his talents at coaching. Smith just finished a solid 4 years at Duke University under the phenomenal coaching of Coack K and was picked up in the first round by the Portland Trailblazers.

Although the planking phemon has died down in the past couple weeks, Washington Wizards Center Javale McGee just hasn’t let it go. I say there should be a height limit to planking, and this 7 footer is just too tall.
While meeting Javale at the ESPY’s, I did ask him if he would plank the red carpet or possibly plank on stage if he won an award, he laughed. But I wouldn’t doubt it if it had crossed his mind. He did seem bum when I told him someone planked the red carpet earlier that day.

The NBA Lockout is something being taken very serious and has caused conflict with the attendee’s of Chris Bosh’s wedding and Michael Jordan’s charity golf tournament. On top of no summer league or Team USA this summer, the NBA Lockout has hit the face of Miami and is effecting Zo’s Summer Groove activities.
According to the Sun Sentinel, The event, which begins Wednesday and runs through Sunday, will continue despite the NBA being in the middle of the lockout.
